First Quality To Modernize Diaper Plant

First Quality Baby Products will nonwoven fabrics manufacturers, modernize its absorbent hygiene manufacturing facilities in Macon, GA. After careful consideration of multiple sites in several states, First Quality Baby selected the site as the location for this expansion project, with construction scheduled to begin during the fourth quarter of 2010.

Through its First Quality Retail Services, LLC affiliate, First Quality Baby acquired a Macon manufacturing presence with its April 2008 acquisition of Covidien Ltd.'s non woven SMS fabric Retail Products Business. The decision to upgrade and expand this production capacity further demonstrates First Quality's commitment to providing high-quality products manufactured utilizing state-of-the-art technology to better serve our customer's needs.
